We were excited to spend our first full day at our resort on the outskirts of Sedona. “Enchantment Mii Amo” is a beautiful secluded spa resort, located about 6 miles outside of the town of Sedona. It’s surrounded on three sides by majestic red rock. It’s a sprawling resort of about (80) one story casitas (for guests). The lobby and restaurants are in the main building (which is primarily also one story), except for the tennis shop and bike rental on the lower level. The Mii Amo Spa is a separate single story building with multiple fitness rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, meditation rooms, and a restaurant. Here is one of the many casitas:
Here are some photos of the main building and lobby.
The views of the red rocks are spectacular from everywhere within the resort.
Our casita is very nice with a large bathroom, a King bed, a separate living room area, desk, and a fireplace for the cool nights.
After exploring most of our resort, we decided to go into town and do some window shopping. Our Model S had a full tank of electrons, thanks to the resort’s charging station. We also needed to get the car washed. The town was full of tourists, shoppers, and restaurants. Lots of tour buses and vans. Some ATV rental shops, etc. Things were so busy (in fact) that we neglected to take streetscape photos.
After the necessary car wash, we returned to the tranquility of our resort and signed up for the stargazing activity. This was just one of dozens of daily activities offered by the resort, as part of a nominal resort fee.
