Wow.  This was a great day!  We left the Savannah airport around 8:45am, and arrived at our hotel just north of Richmond around 5:45pm.  We traveled 492 miles, and we visited (3) supercharger stations (Santee, SC; Lumberton, NC; Rocky Mount, NC).  Once again weather was perfect, traffic was light, and no delays due to construction or accidents.

Santee, SC – We charged for about 30 minutes and stretched our legs in a hotel across the street.  There were 2 other Teslas charging, but we didn’t see the owners.

Lumberton, SC Supercharger Grabbed a bite at Chick-Fil-a. When we were done, the car was ready to go. We ran into the owners of the other Model S. They were heading from Baltimore to Florida.

Lots of lumber trucks in Lumberton.

Rocky Mount, NC – We charged for about 40 minutes while we checked email and stretched our legs in a hotel lobby.  Then – onward to Virginia!

We’re finally in Virginia.  Just another hour to get to Richmond.

Finally - Virginia!

Finally – Virginia!

And now Richmond, at pm rush
