Wow.  This was a great day!  We left the Savannah airport around 8:45am, and arrived at our hotel just north of Richmond around 5:45pm.  We traveled 492 miles, and we visited (3) supercharger stations (Santee, SC; Lumberton, NC; Rocky Mount, NC).  Once again weather was perfect, traffic was light, and no delays due to construction or accidents.

Santee, SC – We charged for about 30 minutes and stretched our legs in a hotel across the street.  There were 2 other Teslas charging, but we didn’t see the owners.

Lumberton, SC Supercharger Grabbed a bite at Chick-Fil-a. When we were done, the car was ready to go. We ran into the owners of the other Model S. They were heading from Baltimore to Florida.

Rocky Mount, NC – We charged for about 40 minutes while we checked email and stretched our legs in a hotel lobby.  Then – onward to Virginia!

We’re finally in Virginia.  Just another hour to get to Richmond.
